Steve Kisakye an Associate Director of Dalberg 3D and a co-Office Director based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Steve currently leads our 3D team that is implementing a government support program that aims at transforming the agricultural sector through various business management principles with the aim of a driving a ‘business unusual’ culture. He also does extensive work within the health and conservation sectors.
He joined Dalberg from Acacia Mining Plc; one of the largest African focused mining companies with operations in Tanzania, Kenya, Mali and Burkina Faso where he worked for close to a decade and served as Head of Corporate Social Responsibility. In this role, he oversaw all activities related to social risk definition, impact management and social investment, leading a staff of over 50 across multiple locations and a social - investment budget of over USD$ 10 million per annum. Prior to this, he worked extensively across Africa with various development organizations including Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders) and The Clinton Foundation and undertook collaborative work with UN Agencies, PEPFAR, Global Fund and various African Governments and Ministries.
A socio-economic development and Program management practitioner; he holds a Public health qualification from the Makerere University, a Post Graduate qualification in Business Management from the University of Cape Town – Global Business School and an accreditation in Community Relations practice for the extractive industry from the University of Witwatersrand.
