Based in Paris, Sam co-leads Dalberg Advisors' Humanitarian Assistance practice. He advises governments, development banks, and international organizations on how to create strategies that increase development impact. His work has spanned a broad range of topics, including developing coalitions to support access to insurance, designing resource mobilization strategies for non-governmental organizations, and evaluating the effectiveness of innovative financing instruments.
Prior to joining Dalberg, Sam was a manager in the Emerging Markets practice of Deloitte Consulting. In this role, he served as an advisor to the Ministry of Labour, Human Resources and Public Services in the provisional Government of South Sudan. Sam holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA with Highest Honors from Emory University.
