Developing a Consumer Behaviour Change Strategy to Drive Urban Sustainability

We analyzed New York City’s current footprint and carbon inventory to determine the ten most impactful actions consumers could take to improve the quality of the city's resource base and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, in alignment with the city’s ambitious goals. This work formed the basis of the city's GreeNYC strategy to shift behaviour patterns for city residents.
