Rachna Saxena is a Partner in the New York office of Dalberg. She founded and co-leads the firm’s US-focused Justice, Equity, and Economic Mobility Practice. She also co-leads Dalberg’s Finance and Investment practice.

Rachna works with a range of public, private, and philanthropic stakeholders to develop strategies, refine investment processes, and establish field-building initiatives, with a particular focus on taking an equity lens to investments. For several years, Rachna has led Dalberg’s work as a learning partner for the 2X Challenge – an initiative to mobilize more capital for women’s economic empowerment. In addition, she works with organizations to take an intersectional gender and racial equity lens in building strategies that support quality jobs for workers and address structural inequalities in the care economy.

Prior to Dalberg, Rachna was with Monitor Group as a strategic advisor to governments on financing for development and with Deutsche Bank as an Economist covering Middle East and South Asian markets. She holds a BA from the University of Michigan and an MA from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Rachna is on the Board of Directors for Convergence, the world’s first blended finance platform.
