Andria Thomas is an Associate Partner in Dalberg’s Washington, D.C. office, where she works with organizations ranging from the United Nations and the World Bank to foundations, governments, and corporations seeking to develop evidence-based strategies that will improve the lives of the poor.

Andria specializes in Dalberg’s Strategy & Performance practice area, with a particular focus on organizational strategy and change management, and the ICT & Mobile for Development practice. She also co-leads Dalberg’s Financial Inclusion practice. Her work has ranged from creating the five-year business plan for a UN agency, to developing the governance model for a multi-stakeholder partnership in support of digital payments, to assessing how women access and use the Internet in development countries.

Prior to Dalberg, Andria worked with Boston Consulting Group in their Financial Services practice from their Chicago and Helsinki offices, as well as with numerous technology start-ups. She was also a Peace Corps Volunteer in Namibia. Andria holds an MBA and MS in Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, and a BA in Mathematics and English from the University of Virginia.
