We supported the World Health Organization Regional Office for Africa’s transformation agenda to improve its efficacy, accountability and responsiveness in dealing with health situations in the continent, and realign organizational structure with strategic priorities. We recommended improving key business processes, improving top-heavy pyramids, and facilitating better ways of working for intercountry teams.
